So here is what I have so far:
Kaylin:
Here are things that she is "into" lately-
-Dora
-Princesses
-Mickey/Minnie Mouse
-Pretend play (ex: dress-up, baby dolls, etc.) PLEASE no food/kitchen items...we already have TOO much!
-Arts/crafts items or kits
-Pinkalicious Books
-Fancy Nancy Books
-Barnes & Noble gift cards to put books on our Nook
-iTunes gift cards for our iPad
-Clothes- 3T & 4T (she doesn't NEED clothes, but she is currently in 3T) NO 3T PJ's or fleece PJS please
-Shoes- she is currently in 8's, but will be in 9's soon and we have no 9's!
-You can "buy" her activities (donate $ for a dance class, music class, gymnastics, etc.)
-Board games (we have Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders, and memory)
Lucas:
-"boy" toys, but preferably nothing too "young" that he will outgrow soon.
-Toys he can manipulate
-"boy" books: (There is a series "How to Dinosaurs ______" by Jane Yolan. There are a ton of different books)
-"Chunky" cars (made for infants that they can't choke on)
-Clothes- He is currently in 9-12 mo. clothes so I'm going to guess he will be in 12-18 mo around Christmas time. No Fleece PJ's (They both get really hot and sweaty!)
-Diapers :-) (he's in 3's now, but it would be good to stock up on 4's!)
- $ for a music class I want to put the kids in
An idea for both kids is Savings Bonds. They may not appreciate it now, but I know they will in the future! They have changed how they do them and you have to set accounts up online (I haven't really looked into it but if you are wanting to do this please let me know and we can work together to set it up!)
Also, please no stuffed animals (we have a TON!) and nothing too big because our house is small!
Well, I think that is all for now. Please don't hesitate to call/text/e-mail me if you have an idea but want to check and make sure we don't have it, if they could use it, etc. I am planning on updating our Amazon "wish lists" hopefully soon with some specific ideas/toys for those who need more specific ideas :-)
We can't wait to come home to see everyone at Christmas. We just hope the weather cooperates!!
