Kaylin loves corn on the cob! She ate a whole ear all by herself! It took her a little bit to figure out how to eat it, but once she figured it out, she didn't put it down!

Here is a video I got tonight of Kaylin demonstrating her "Help" and head nod! She is too funny :) Kaylin is changing everyday and does something adorable everyday! So I thought I would make a top 10 count down of my favorite things that Kaylin does (it may be impossible to cut it down to just 10!)
10-She learns new words everyday and is starting to repeat what we say 9-When I ask her a question she nods her head with a really cheesey smile 8-She sings the "Hot Dog Dance" at the end of "The Mickey House Club" by saying "Haw-Daw" and bouncing around 7-She loves to swim and jump into the pool all by herself! 6-She LOVES playing with her baby dolls, especially pretending that they are poopy and changing their diapers 5-She says "hep" and raises her hand in the air ( her invented sign for "help") when she needs help with something or wants something 4-She says "hey, hey, hey" when her friend Brynlee tries to take something from her, or even when I catch her doing something she knows she isn't suppose to be doing 3-She claps for hereself when she poops in the potty, even if she is crying 2-Her FAVORITE book is "The Jolly Barnyard", which was Cory's favorite book growing up. She asks to read it everytime she sees it next to her bed. If we try to read a different book she throws it and points to "The Jolly Barnyard" 1-She says and waves "Bye-Bye" and blows a kiss to Presley everyday when we leave for daycare/work. This last weekend we went to Omaha for a little family vacation (and to kind of celebrate our 4 year anniversary). (I will do our adventures in sections). We left Saturday morning and got to Omaha around noon. We went to a park that had really big slides and had a picnic, went down the slides and walked around the park! It was a lot of fun! After we left the park we went to the Omaha Children's Museum. Kaylin loved it! She would have stayed all day! They have an area called the "Imagination Playground", Kaylin loved playing in the little market and play house. She went down the slide a million times and kept going back to the water table with the ducks! (We ended up in the Playground twice!) Then we went to the dinosaur exhibit and she kept calling them "puppies" haha. They also had an art area and a big ball room. The art area was a little out of her development but she loved chasing the balls all over the ball room! After we left the museum we checked into the hotel and took a short nap before supper at Spaghetti Works! Then we went swimming at the hotel for a little bit before hitting the hay! Sunday we had plans to go to the Henry Dorley Zoo. When we woke up to thurderstorms I was worried our day was ruined, but we went ahead and got ready to go and by the time we left the rain stopped and it was cloudy and cool all day! It was perfect! We were at the zoo from 9-3 and were exhausted afterwards! Kaylin LOVED it, she waved and laughed at all the animals. I can't wait to take her back again. She was definately practicing her "Cheese" smile this weekend! |
