One thing I wanted to accomplish was dying Easter eggs! Since I am due the day before Easter, I didn't want to put this off and not get to enjoy doing it with Kaylin. So we did it a little early :) Dying eggs with a 2 year old is quite honestly, insane....she wanted to touch, stir, splash, etc. EVERYTHING!!! I should have seen this coming, but it still wouldn't have changed my mind! She was SO excited and loved every second of it!! We got a free kit from Build-a-Bear when we were there last weekend and used that. She helped stir the dyes, color on the eggs and put them in the cups. A few times she would just stick her whole hand into the dye and grab the egg! After they were dry, she decorated them with stickers. I thought they turned out pretty beautiful!
Before we started the eggs, Kaylin had her first popsicle.....and loved it! (Which explains the orange mouth in the egg pictures). And while we were waiting for the eggs to dry she had fun trying on some Easter Bunny ears and pretending to be a bunny....and of course, chasing Presley around the house trying to put the ears on him.
