Papa T bought a mini bike so Cory took the kids for a little spin around the cul-de-sac! They loved it! We were blessed with absolutely beautiful weather in February. I think it was near 70! It's not too often you can ride a tricycle in no pants in Iowa in February ;-)

Our newest nephew, Max Aaron, was born in the beginning of February and the weekend of Kaylin's party we got to finally meet and snuggle him! I didn't get a picture of Cooper holding him, due to the need of all hands needed to help him! But he loved him and didn't want to let him go :-) After 7 years, we have finally moved our glider chair out of the "nursery" to the living room. No more babies to nurse and rock in this house. It is a very bitter-sweet feeling. The chair has already gotten lots of use in the living room and there will be many more snuggles and rocking in the future! I'm epically failing at posting lately! Last month Kaylin turned 7! 7!! How is that even possible?! With no surprise, she chose to have a puppy theme. She loved having everyone there to celebrate her! This year for the kids' birthday we are going to take them to the Mall of America (later this spring) to spend their birthday money. Kaylin is so excited to go shopping at the American Girl Doll store! She also had a little playdate with a few of her friends from school! They had fun playing, watching the movie "Trolls" and decorating their own cupcakes! Here is Kaylin's 7 year Interview:

She has the biggest heart, always so loving and caring. She wants to please everybody and is willing to make a sacrifice for herself to make someone else happy. We are so proud of her all the time. She is really excelling in school and always growing and trying her hardest (when she isn't distracted ;-) ) She is your typical 7 year old girl, with a sassy little attitude! She is still doing dance and loving it and is signed up for softball this spring/summer. She loves to play with her American Girl Dolls, Barbies, and little doll figures. She still loves playing with Lucas...most of the time....They are the best of friends and the worst of enemies! She is our most easy-going child. Usually willing to help whenever needed and the best listener. She is really maturing into a beautiful young girl and we can't wait to see what the future hold for her. (I keep forgetting to take her Mongo the Monkey picture...I will try to do that soon to add to this post) |
