Here are some other pictures from the month of October! Enjoy! We carved our pumpkins today and Kaylin loved exploring the pumpkins too! She got to paint her own pumpkin, which was her first experience painting. I think she will be quite the artist when she grows up! Here are some pictures from our adventure! I will post pictures of the final products later! My sister and her husband, Adam, stopped by for supper on their way home to Cedar Rapids tonight and Amanda was helping give Kaylin a bath before bed. Of course, all the puppies had to help too, and Oakley (her older weiner dog who is usually scared of Kaylin) decided to join her in the tub!! It was funny! He really just wanted to play with her rubber ducky! Since Cory is still "layed off" for the season, he gets to be stay at home dad (lucky!), and Kaylin and him are quite the pair! Here are some pictures I have come home to recently.....Kaylin, Dad and Uncle Chad took an adventure to the park one day and had lots of fun! Here we are again, another month older, and a heck of a lot busier! Our little angel is on the move! She can get to anywhere she wants to be (and shouldn't be!) by either rolling and/or army crawling! We can no longer walk away for a second and expect her to be in the same place! She has taken up Yoga also! In her attempts to crawl she often will get up on her hands and toes and it looks like she is doing yoga! She is starting to pull up to standing on things, she will try really hard but she doesn't trust herself enough. She will pull herself up to standing on us when we are sitting on the floor with her, but I think it is because she knows we won't let her fall! Here is her 8 month Mongo pictures and a few others. On Saturday we had our good friend, Chelsea Ruby (Simply Chic Photography), take our family pictures and pictures of Kaylin! She did a great job, we love them all!! Now, I have to try and choose my favorites! Ah!! This is Kaylin's newest face....her stink face!! Whenever she is getting an attitude, this is what we get! I love it!
This last weekend we took Kaylin to Deal's Apple Orchard for her first Fall Fest! It was beautiful weather even though it was a little warm, but compared to last year when it was FREEZING, this year was perfect! When we first got there we checked everything out and some pictures, then we went on a hay ride and picked out our pumpkins! Papa and Nana Clingan came with us and we had a lot of fun. Kaylin isn't looking at the camera in a lot of the pictures because it was really sunny, and she was so curious about everything going on! Grandma Chele kept telling us how much Kaylin looked like her in one of her baby pictures, and she found one (even though it wasn't the one she was talking about) and the similarities are unbelievable! We tried to copy the pose as much as we could, but believe it or not, Kaylin wasn't the most cooperative! So, here is the best shot we got!
